This is my winter painting of the beautiful Gore mansion which has been called "the Monticello of the North" and architectural historians consider it to be the most significant Federal period mansion in New England. It is a jewel museum in the City of Waltham, Massachusetts and admired by all passing by the elegance that still exists today.
About Rita Brown
The girl who paints Waltham, Massachusetts. Rita Brown is the artist known for painting magical memories of her hometown aka "The Girl Who Paints Waltham". This wonderful collection of Waltham paintings was launched in 2007 and expands every year. This includes the beautiful old architecture of the Waltham churches, schools, city hall, museums, police and fire centers, shops, cemeteries and the famous Charles River. Of course, the Moody Street bridge and some of the landscape where the Muddy Charles runs through.
