Description
Painting of Christmas Morning on Grand Avenue in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Reminds me of the quote: "All Hearts Come Home For Christmas!" I've been painting Grand Ave in every season starting in 2006. The scenic ocean view at the top of the hill is so thrilling you almost go off the road looking out to the sea. I think this is where Katherine Bates was inspired to write the line "from sea to shinning sea."

Someday, I will post the actual view of the ocean from this road (Grand Ave). In the distance you can vaguely see Martha's Vineyard off in the distance.
