This is my memory of going around the rotary (Beaver and Lyman Street) and driving by the DeVincent Brothers' (Arthur and Raymond) homes beautifully decorated every year for Christmas. I painted this calling upon my memories that one house was in red lights and the other in blue. It was truly a spectacular sight and made every Christmas glow with something we all enjoyed. Thank you to the DeVincent Brothers for all their contributions and the joy they provided to the City of Waltham. What a legacy to leave behind. Sadly, their property was recently sold and these beautiful houses were torn down and new structures erected but, the memories will last forever in our hearts.

Rita, I adore this snowy painting of your memories of the rotary round-about... Unfortunately I had to remove from the WIDE, Winter Art4 Billboards contest because it doesn't meet the criteria for this contest. Please consider hosting a snowy memories painting contest... You art is lovely. I will love to peek in and see the art shared in your gallery! Keep making art! GJ glorijean
